Day 6-Favorite super hero and why

Do I even have to explain it??? MIGHTY MOUSE is the coolest super hero who was ever imagined! Who doesn't love a crime fighting, damsel saving, flying mouse??? Ever since I was a little girl anytime super-hero was brought up Mighty Mouse is who came to mind. So it doesn't surprise me that he is who the first thought I had when I read Day 6.

Day 5-A picture of somewhere you've been to

Since tomorrow is Sunday and I won't be online I am posting this a day early. Out of all the places I have ever been there is only one place that I feel the peace and love of our Heavenly Father and Savior...The TEMPLE.

I've visited many Temples. Thirteen to be exact! But the Seattle, Washington Temple holds a very special place in my heart. When I was an infant I was sealed to my parents and older brother, Patrick in that special building. I don't remember anything about it...but I was told that I was a perfect, content baby the entire 10 hours we were there that day. Even though I was a nursing baby, I had no problem being away from my mommy for 6-7 hours and never fused.

Another reason this Temple means so much is because on September 27th, 2002 I was sealed to my Eternal Sweetheart, Ryan Scott Bair. I remember everything about that day. It was one of the greatest days of my life, aside from becoming a mother a few years later. I am so lucky to have found a man who loves me, cares for me, and supports me in all I do. I LOVE YOU RY!!!

Day 4-A habit that you wish you didn't have

You know the saying,"Never put off til tomorrow what can be done today,"? Well I tend to be the opposite. I always seem to put things off and I'm not always conscious of it when I'm doing it.

Day 3-A picture of you and your friends

First off let me just say I consider myself "FRIENDS" with many people! However, I have 4 women in my life who have proven themselves over and over to be there for me and love me no matter what my faults.

I met Melissa Louise Sauter/Smeltzer on the 1st day of school in 3rd grade. Why she wanted to be my friend was beyond me...maybe it was because we were the only 2 girls in our class??? Anyway we became friends regardless of my attitude among other faults. Some of the stories she has about me...oh that's another blog. Anyhow, I LOVE HER! She has been a GREAT friend for the past 20 years...dang that's a long time...here is to 20 more with her as my friend.

A few months after turning 12 my family moved from Key Center, WA to ROSWELL, NM. What were my parents thinking??? Again that is another blog!!! I was terrified! I had lived in the same home my entire 12 years of existence. I didn't think I would find friends as good as I had had in Washington. Well the Lord knows BEST. On my first day of school in Roswell I met Amanda Michelle Hogge/Rubio. Not only did we share the same middle name but we also shared a love for sports. We played on many teams together throughout the years. Up until High School when I chose soccer and she chose volleyball :( We live close so she is the friend I see the most often now a days. I don't think she will ever understand the amount of love I have for her. She made the hardest thing in my life (at the time of age 12) bearable. Her mom and her are a second family to me.

I met Carrie Lynette Harbour/Dias on my first day of Cosmetology School in Rexburg, Idaho. Are you seeing a trend here? School sure has given me a lot of great friends! Carrie was from Oregon, and just made school fun. She always had something funny to share. We would joke around a lot and hang out here and there. It wasn't until after school was done that I realize how much Carrie's friendship had meant to me. So my dear Carrie...I LOVE YOU for making beauty school bearable with your GREAT sense of Humor!!! I miss you! (left to right Sariah, Carrie, Melissa)

When Ryan and I decided to make the big move down to New Mexico from Spokane, WA< I have to admit I was a bit nervous. A few months passed without anything grand...and then I met Emily Reva Winkel/Sessions! Her cute family have moved from Oregon and bought a home in our ward. We were called to be the Girl's Camp Director/ Assistant Director together. We became close over that week of camp and realized how much we had in common with one another. A few months after camp we both realized we were expecting...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...heavenly father sure has a sense of humor, right? So in the picture below is at our Twilight Party...yes I went...were Em and I are pregnant together!
( Emily is to my left in the picture below, wearing the grey sweater)
I love you Em...even though you up and left me for Arizona! :)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, these women and their cute families! They are a soft place to fall when the road of life becomes rocky!

Day 2-The meaning behind your Blog name

Well it is self-explanatory really. In this life and I believe the next to come it's ALL about FAMILY...we're abunchabairs. I have always felt a strong connection to generations gone before in my family. When I married into the Bair Family that feeling multiplied as I felt the love and acceptance his family had for me. Ryan comes from a LARGE, loving and supportive family and I am PROUD to be able to add to His family tree (and mine) three more monkeys...I mean Bairs

15.I get claustrophobic! Even in my home if there is too much stuff...so I DE-clutter often and recently realized I need to really start THINKING every purchase through so I don't clutter my home!

It's totally NOT apple juice!!!

Levi had his 4 year check-up today. After an hour of waiting we were informed that Levi's chart is missing or miss-filed as they called it. Levi has to use the restroom so we go find a place to relieve his waters. Another 20 minutes go by... and we finally get in a room (still no chart) and 45 minutes later we finally talk with the doctor. Levi is growing fine, healthy, blah blah blah. I'm a little annoyed!!! Levi then gets his vaccines so he can attend pre-school and then doctor tells us they need a urine sample....SERIOUSLY??? You make us wait 2 hours from our appointment time because your staff has "MISS-FILED" my son's chart, gave him his vaccines ( 5 of them total) and now you think my son is going to pee on demand??? Yeah it didn't happen so we get home and Levi informs me he has to go again. So I run into the kitchen and grab the cup I was given for this special occasion. You know the drill, right? Clean, start going, catch in the cup. Levi is so amazed at all the bubbles we caught in the cup and then looks up at me with his big brown eyes and says," That is totally NOT apple juice mom. We need to make sure no one drinks it!"

So although I am still some what upset about the doctor visit today...Levi made my day!!!

Bring on the RAIN!!!

Well...it's finally happened! I've felt it building for the last 3 weeks but the stress of life has caught up with me today. I've said many prayers to keep this day from coming. I have to say it isn't near the grief I was experiencing a year and a half ago.

We found out 8 weeks ago SURPRISE!!! We're pregnant !!!! Six weeks later a day before my 12Th week was to begin...dum dum dum. Here we go again, another miscarriage.

We were surprised to be pregnant but with the 12Th week quickly approaching we began planning how to tell people. Our parents were the first to know, we told them at week 10. Excitement was beginning to set in, planning began, buying diapers, seriously discussing a permanent method of birth-control, would we finally get a girl or add to our herd of boys???

I've coped okay...but that is fading and I can feel it today.

I'M NOT WRITING THIS FOR PITY!!!

I just need it out there. This is our 5Th miscarriage! I know the Lord doesn't give us more than we can handle. I've accepted I won't know the reason behind all these losses. I am not in control. I've put my trust in HIM 100%, but this evening after a very challenging day with the boys...the storm rolled in and I am now grieving for the baby that was called Home too soon for my liking!
For those of you who have experienced this also you know how it feels! To have it happen ONCE hurts, TWICE the pain intensifies, more than that it ( for me anyhow) your mind tries to protect but your body reminds you daily. Each time you have to go to the Dr. it's a punch in the gut as you see other woman happily awaiting the arrival of their bundle OR a pregnant teen scared to death about what is soon coming to pass!!!
I am over the anger, and questioning why...but the longing to see and hold the baby we were so excited about 3 weeks ago keeps being brought to the forefront of my mind and the realization that I won't be able to do that (in this life) brings a dull hole in my heart. Time will heal,

THE SAVIOR WILL HEAL

...so until then

BRING ON THE RAIN!!!

Month of May in a Nutshell

Well we started May off the same way many of you did by celebrating Mother's Day! My boys were especially good to me this year. I had a homemade CROWN for my royal day. I got my kitchen aid, YEAH!!! And best of all I GOT TO SLEEP IN!!!
They wouldn't put the stuff down for pictures...I think it adds a little character, don't you???
A few days later Caden graduated from Kindergarten. What a bitter sweet day for me. He's growing up so fast and yet I'm so proud of the young man he is becoming!
The boys found our Halloween bucket out in the shop and the next thing I know we have our own version of the village people in our living room. They sure make me smile.
So one evening in May we happened to be working on our yard when I looked up to see one of many creations our Heavenly Father allows up to enjoy. Just as the sun was setting these clouds rolled in from no where. Levi and I climbed on the roof to get a better view and stayed up there till the sun had set that night.

Panoramic View! Breathtaking!!!

Memorial Day we decided to work on our backyard some more. We were about to pack up our tools and head to my parent's home to swim when we heard Caden's voice, " Uh guys...I'm bleeding here!" No panic in his voice just a sweet uh I need some help voice. It was more than a little cut.

I think he'll think twice next time he wants to use his daddy's 3lb sledge hammer and re-bar, don't you???

Ready to head HOME!!! HAPPY GUY!!!

AN HOUR LATER!

No worries, what ever caused the freakish blood spill had stopped before the Dr. looked at it again!

Healing just fine and posing with the re-bar that did all the damage!
May 28th My Great Uncle Francis William Green passed away. I honestly don't remember if I ever met him since my Grandpa Green passed away when I was 5 there wasn't a lot of communication with the Green side of the family. However my dad found out and called me up to drive to Albuquerque with him and my mom. It was so great to get to meet family I didn't know existed. I had a wonderful afternoon meeting my dad's two cousins, Sharmon and Rhonda, along with Rhonda's 4 sons (left to right) Allen, Austin, Rich, and Greg.
My mom and dad with the extended family! I sure wish I had met my uncle Francis. I believe some day I will. But for now I will only know him through the memories that his children and grandchildren were kind enough to share with me on that beautiful day in Albuquerque. I'm also thankful for a few memories they shared with me of my own grandfather, whom I only remember from family videos and pictures. Families truly are FOREVER!!!

A little bit of RANDOMS

I decided since I'm so far behind I'd update the past few months with some of my favorite pictures taken. Enjoy!!!
The boys and I had a fun time while daddy was away in November for some Tech Training. We spent the week playing games, watching movies, sword fighting, and making silly faces.

We spent our Thanksgiving Break at the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Tx. We had a blast and were exhausted when we got home.

Ryan OR

Joe Dirt?
Ryan had fun this past Halloween. And YES he went to work this way!

Funny Boys!

Benson has earned the name "BUG". The first 8 months of life he battled to stay healthy so we called him Benson bug, he's our Love bug too...but he is the BIGGEST WATER BUG we know also. This kid is fearless when it comes to water. He LOVES IT!

DEAR BLOG...

...so lately every time I sit down to upload pictures or update our adventurous children decide to :
A: Start World War 3 Over A Beloved LEGO
B: Make Their Own Lunch With TONS OF HONEY!!!
C. Fill The Toilet With a WHOLE ROLL OF TP
D. Stand Right Next To Me and say MOM, MOM,MOM, CAN I, CAN I, CAN I...until I don't even remember what I was trying to do in the first place.
E. ALL OF THE ABOVE PLUS SOME!!!

We had an AWESOME Thanksgiving Vacation. We packed the whole crew up and headed to Grapevine Texas were we enjoyed THE GREAT WOLF LODGE http://www.greatwolf.com/ ...if you live close to one I highly recommend going. It was fun to be in a water park in the middle of winter. A few days after arriving home, December 3rd, Benson was finally weighing enough and old enough to undergo his bi-lateral inguinal hernia repair. He flirted with the nurses and was a pretty happy baby considering he didn't get to eat 12 hours prior to surgery. THANK GOODNESS FOR OUR SWING!!! The swing kept him lulled to sleep until we needed to head to the hospital. He was his normal happy self within 24 hours post-op!

Christmas was enjoyable! We ATE WAY TOO MUCH!!! I've never stepped on a scale after the holidays until this year...I think it's crazy how one can gain 6 pounds in a day. YES...6 POUNDS!!! However, I've never been one to care about weight management but seriously 6 pounds in one day is ridiculous and I will be more careful when the holidays roll around again!

The rest of our time is filled with work and church callings. In fact in the next 12 weeks we have 1 weekend to ourselves and the rest is filled with Youth Activities, Temple Trips, Primary Activities, and Practice for The 10 Virgin Performance I've been asked to sing in (which I'm way excited for, the music is FANTASTIC!!!)

I do have pictures to post but they were all downloaded to our PC Tower and I don't want to wake Ryan to link the laptop up...so those will have to wait for another day...

Here are the boys' statistics, kinda fun to see where they all are:

Caden: is 5 (almost 6) weighing in at 52 lbs and is 4 feet 5 inches (He'll be taller than me soon)
Levi : is 3 weighs in at 41 lbs and is 3 feet 8 inches (NOT far behind his brother)
Benson: is 7 months and weighs 17 lbs 14 oz and is 2 feet 4 inches
Ryan is...just kidding...

Goodnight, I must sleep before Benson wakes for his night feeding!!!

Family Pictures 2009

As I said in the post before our sweet friend Tonya Peterson http://www.tonyapeterson.com/blog/ took our family pictures this year. She brought along another friend/photographer, Shillawna Ruffnerhttp://www.shillawnaruffnerphotography.com/ and daughter, to help the boys focus and got our photos done in record time for our rowdy bunch. Those of you in the San Diego area looking for a good friend and great photographer check our Shillawna's website and book her. She is fantastic at what she does and passionate as is Tonya, those of you in the New Mexico area...she's AWESOME!!! Thank you both for helping pictures be fun. I didn't feel stressed and the boys didn't cry and whine!!!
