Hay Ride and Pumpkin Picking

Caden's Preschool went to Grave's Farms this past week. We were able to go with and had a blast. Here are the boys waiting for the hay-ride. The tractor behind them and then hay bales we sat on. The school had a great turnout and because of that we took two tractors. This is the one in front of us and check out all those chili's on the left and right. YUM! We love our GREEN and RED CHILI in NEW MEXICO!
Once we got to the pumpkin patch Caden didn't waste any time. He found his pumpkin and was back on the tractor trailer before the rest of his class. He was pretty proud of his find.

Levi picked out about ten different pumpkins before finding the right one. We made it back to the tractor just in time to catch a ride back to the front of the farm. Good thing because I would have had to carry Levi and his pumpkin out.

The boys on the ride back. Levi was crying because his pumpkin had poked his hand. Sad!

All in all we had a fun time.
Stay tuned: Halloween costume pictures WILL be posted this week. I just need to get a few copies of mine and Ryan's costumes from my dad.

Pirate Pumpkin Carving

Levi fell asleep an hour (6:00pm) before we planned on carving our pumpkin. He didn't wake up until 7 am the next morning. YEAH, for sleeping. SAD, he missed all the fun.
Caden helped out a bunch and even picked out the theme of our pumpkin. He wanted Captain Jack Sparrow. But he settled for a regular pirate since mommy and daddy are a little artistically impaired.

Caden only put his hand in twice and that was ENOUGH!

All the GUTS!

ALL THE GLORY. We were pretty proud of our PIRATE PUMPKIN!
