Albuquerque Temple

Ryan and I are trying really hard to get to the Temple once a month. We pack the boys up friday after work drive 3 1/2 hours to either Albuquerque, NM or Lubbock, TX. We check into the hotel and then one of us goes to a session and the other in the morning before the boys wake up.

This weekend we went to the Albuquerque Temple and Caden sang "I Love to See the Temple" on our drive up. He's such a sweet young man. Both boys were excited to see the fountain out front and even gave us a little chase around it. All in all it was an enjoyable weekend.

This is my favorite picture. They both looked over their shoulder at the same time with no directions from us.

Jazz and Art Festival 2008

Every year here in Roswell there is a Jazz and Art Festival. We went with the cousins and had a blast. The Art Museum had tons of FREE activities for the kids to do. The HIT of the day was the CRAZY HAIR SALON. High School Students Volunteered to fix the children's hair up.

Six Years and Counting

Ryan and I were married on September 27th, 2002 and I just want to say it was the most PERFECT DAY (aside from our two boys being born) and it just keeps getting better.

So I have been tagged, if you've tagged me before and I didn't respond, SORRY. So here it goes, THANKS CARRIE!

#1 I have a glass of water before bed, but there are rules to this drink. The cup must be completely clean. I will wash it two sometimes three times. Must be bottled water, COLD and have ice in it. If anyone touches my glass, I dump it and start over or I just don't drink it that night.

#2 Sometimes I feel so claustrophobic in my house I start throwing things away. Like things Ryan's said he would fix and just hasn't had time to do it, the toys from McDonald's or the one's that annoy me. I chuck a lot of stuff!

#3 I shake my shoes before I put them on. Did I say shake? I ment BEAT, just incase something crawled up inside.

#4 I won't eat peanut butter and honey unless they are mixed together before going on the bread. Otherwise the bread gets hard were the honey hits.

#5 If there aren't any seat covers in a public restroom I will use almost a fourth of a roll to cover the seat before sitting. Sometimes if the restroom looks too filthy I will go to the shop next door.

#6 DRUMROLL PLEASE......When I am driving (No laughing) I flex my behind. (I SAID NO LAUGHING) Must be doing something because Ryan is alway complimenting my backside.

FAIR DAYS!

So Roswell always has a Fair Day Parade to kick off the fair coming to town. All the schools are closed and almost half the town is closed down for the day. We met up with our cousins and friends from church for the parade.

These race cars were the kid's favorite. Parents were allowed on, good thing because Levi was a inch too short for any rides. But they let him on with Ryan.

Levi kept saying," I ride bumble-bee." I couldn't figure out why until the next day the boys were pretending to be transformers and then I realized bumble-bee is a yellow transformer.

Caden loved that the planes had guns.
